22-year-old Kamil Majchrzak of Poland came out on top in his battle against Spanish Roberto Ortega-Olmedo, 63 46 63, lasting 2 hours and 25 minutes. World No. 221 Majchrzak, who upset number 1 seed Tennys Sandgren in the first round of play, will make an appearance in the quarterfinals tomorrow where he will meet Jason Jung who defeated Frenchman Enzo Couacaud 61 76(3) on court 1.
American Evan Song outlasted Canadian qualifier Alexis Galarneau defeating him in three sets: 62 36 62. The Nevada native will meet fellow American Bradley Klahn in tomorrow’s quarterfinals. The Californian Klahn defeated qualifier and fellow compatriot Michael Redlicki in straight sets: 64 64.
