Answers to all of your questions, even the ones you didn’t know you had.

Alcohol, weapons, illegal substances, glass, open beverage containers and hard-sided bags/containers are not permitted. Prohibited items that are discovered during bag inspections must either be returned to your vehicle or discarded. The Yale University Tennis Center will not provide storage for these or any other items. Guests arriving by public transportation must take particular caution not to bring any prohibited items, as no exceptions will be made.

The gates open at 9:00 a.m. local time each day. Play begins daily at 10:00 a.m. Please note, start time is subject to change.

Yes, concession-style food and beverage will be available for purchase the event.
Please note that no outside food or beverage will be allowed on-site.

The event will be held at the Yale University Tennis Center, located at 279 Derby Ave., West Haven, CT 06516.

Please note that GPS may suggest directions to the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center, which is an indoor tennis facility located directly adjacent to the outdoor courts at the Yale University Tennis Center.

Both the men’s and women’s singles draws consist of 48 players, with the top 16 seeds receiving a first round bye. The men’s and women’s doubles draws consist of 16 teams. The ATP Tour and WTA draws will be made on Sunday, September 1, prior to the start of play the next day.

The next day’s schedule is determined each late afternoon/evening. As soon as it becomes available, the schedule and match times for the following day will be posted on the Oracle Challenger Series website and social media channels.

Every attempt will be made to play matches as scheduled. In the event of rain or wind, matches will be rescheduled at the discretion of the tournament referee.

Cameras (without a flash) may be used to capture photos/videos for personal and private domestic use. Videos and photographs may not be reproduced, cannot be exploited or displayed in any manner or in any medium whatsoever without the written consent of the ATP Tour, WTA, the Oracle Challenger Series or Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

Fans are welcome to request autographs from players as appropriate, provided that they are respectful of the player’s time and schedule.

No, the event is general admission and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The player field will be announced approximately two weeks prior to the start of the tournament, with additional wild card players announced closer to the event. The qualifying round will determine the final players in the main draw.
